Patrick, a surveyor in Colorado, recently traveled to Panama. In April of this year, he visited the Central American country to see the canal there.

“For most people, this is probably the same as any other river or boat trip, but for me it was very pleasant, as I am passionate about engineering projects. It took about 8 hours to pass the canal from end to end,” he shared. his experience with KristenBellTattoos.com.

“Many ships from all over the world pass along the way,” Patrick told us that it was a wonderful adventure.

KristenBellTattoos.com also asked Patrick to share some of his travels with our readers. “I think the most important thing is to remember to have fun. No trip is going to be 100% perfect,” he said that it is very important not to worry about the fact that every little detail is “perfect”.

“There will be times when the weather turns bad, places are closed, it’s hard to find good food, etc. It’s all part of the experience. Enjoy your time because you will miss it when you get home,” Patrick shared. .

“Don’t forget to have backup plans. There are unexpected breaks and you just have to adapt.”

“Beauties and Wonders of the World” The project has more than 423 thousand followers on Facebook and another 26.8 thousand followers on Instagram. Meanwhile, the associated YouTube channel has amassed nearly 121,000 views.

The social media project is designed to showcase the wonderful things you might encounter on your travels, as well as draw attention to the impressive legacy left behind by ancient civilizations. To be honest, we can’t wait to pack our bags, put on a pair of comfortable sneakers, and race to soak up the culture. This is a feast for the eyes and soul.

We at KristenBellTattoos.com are big fans of travel and new experiences. However, at the same time, it is important not to overdo it before the trip. Keeping realistic expectations of what you are likely to experience will help you stay satisfied with your adventure overall. Most recently, we spoke to one of the moderators who help run the multi-million dollar r/travel subreddit.

They emphasized that if our expectations were low or none at all, it would improve the trip, whatever it was. Another thing that can help you have more fun is to put in the effort and do a deeper research into where you are going, the history of the place, the local culture and customs.

“I think the more popular a place is, the easier it is to promote and disappoint it,” the r/travel moderator emphasized, some travelers fall victim to the Paris Syndrome. This is when your expectations are not met and you are left with a culture shock and disappointment.

“For many people, getting to know the local culture at a superficial level or maybe more makes the trip fun, for others the ideal is to stay in an all-inclusive resort on the beach. How you enjoy your vacation is up to you. Fortunately, as a result, we are not all the same and boring,” they explained that everyone travels for different reasons. No one should feel pressured to enjoy themselves in a certain way. Travel is freedom.

One place you might miss is Hollywood. Oh, we might all think it’s full of glitz and glamour, but the reality is nothing like what we see in movies. It’s important to chat with traveler friends or locals to see if a particular hotspot lives up to the hype. Juice is not always worth squeezing.

“There is one popular, supposedly must-see attraction that is over-hyped in Los Angeles, and that is Hollywood. Everyone has heard of it and everyone wants to see it, but once you arrive in real Hollywood, you are bound to be disappointed. Entertainment expert Mike Sington of Los Angeles recently shared with KristenBellTattoos.com.

“It’s very crowded and there’s not much to see except for the stars on the sidewalk. Once you do that, you’ll have to dodge the crowd to even navigate the sidewalks, that’s all. I would suggest walking past Hollywood itself and taking one of the professional studio tours that all the major film studios offer,” he said that Hollywood is not as good as some tourists might expect.

“Because the city is often portrayed in films and television as some kind of glamorous place, this is often all that visitors expect. Sure, Los Angeles is beautiful and diverse and the weather is amazing, but keep in mind that this is a very large city. , so it has all the problems and urban sprawl of most big cities,” shared Mike.

“As a long time resident of Los Angeles, I know very well what is worth seeing and what is not. Here is my personal list of “must see” places for the first visitor:

  • Griffith Observatory and Griffith Park
  • Getty Center
  • Runyon Canyon
  • Santa Monica Beach
  • Grove
  • Los Angeles County Museum of Art
  • Wide
  • universal studios
  • Walt Disney Concert Hall
  • Academy Film Museum
  • Beverly Hills
  • Mulholland Drive,” Mike shared some must-see attractions.
