Lawyers have been questioning Amber Heard about an important post-Met Gala 2014 image after her shocking accusations against Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard has come under pressure over her claims that Johnny Depp may have broken her nose after the 2014 Met Gala, with the actor’s lawyers citing photos showing her uninjured in court.


“For the record, I don’t know if it was broken,” Hurd said Monday under cross-examination of Depp’s attorney Camilla Vasquez. “You should have seen what it looked like under makeup.”

But Vasquez questioned why Hurd didn’t provide jurors with pictures of herself from the night she attended Spike TV’s Don Rickles: One Night Only with Depp, noting that the pictures didn’t show any alleged injuries.

“I’d love to,” Hurd replied. “It’s not my job.”

Vasquez then entered the photographs as evidence.

“Does your nose appear to be intact in any of these photos?” the lawyer asked.


“I’m wearing makeup, and makeup hides the tumor, right?” Heard answered.

The case between the two actors, which is being heard at the Fairfax County Courthouse in Virginia near Washington, D.C., resumed on Monday after a week-long hiatus.


“I just wanted him to leave me alone,” Heard says of Depp.

During her time on the podium, Heard revealed that she wanted to put aside her very public feud with her ex-husband, calling the experience “profoundly humiliating”.

“I have the worst, most painful things that I went through, painful memories, things that I barely survived,” the actress testified. “This is torture. I’m in so much pain emotionally.

“I just wanted him to leave me alone,” she said. “I wanted to move on and he won’t let me make statements like that. He won’t let me.

“I want to live on. I have a child. I want to move on,” Hurd added. “I want Johnny to move on too. I want him to leave me alone.”

Depp sued Heard for $50 million (AU$67 million) for implying he was abusive towards her in 2018. Washington Post ed.
