Andrew Garfield denies starring in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Andrew Garfield is a big fat liar and we love him for that.



Spider-Man: No Way Home kills it at the box office, breaks pandemic records and is Sony’s highest grossing film of all time. Of course, most Marvel films have this effect, especially Spiderman movies, but it was a surprise that most people expected but weren’t sure it would come true. This secret was kept largely by one person and only one person; Mr. Andrew Garfield.

With such a film No way home rumors were bound to circulate, and no bigger than the emergence of former Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Now Tom Holland, of course, as always, tried his best to avoid talking of any collaboration with the former Spider-Man, but it was Andrew’s consistent denial that made people wonder if the rumors were false. Here are some interviews Mr. Garfield did, lying to our faces so we could show up in theaters and stand up and applaud when he made his “Amazing” appearance.

After a photo of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire was leaked, Andrew was bombarded with questions while promoting several projects. While Garfield claims to be Photoshop, we now know it isn’t, and his laugh during this interview is huge evidence that he was lying, but it’s good that he didn’t spoil it.

While promoting his Netflix movie Tick, tick … Boom! on the Today is the show, Garfield almost finished the interview without the dreaded Spider-Man question. Then, as the interview drew to a close, Hoda and Savannah were able to squeeze it in, and Garfield responded beautifully, “You guys are really good at your job, but I’m better at mine.” Yes, you are Andrey, yes you are.

Here again we see Garfield, who states that he feels like playing Werewolf and that he never got a call. The smile that appears on his face whenever someone asks seems like a win-win for anyone playing poker with him in the future. This seems to be part of his bluff.

When promoting Tammy Fay eyes Garfield is back in Entertainment tonight and was struck by the hypothesis of how he would feel if his version of Spider-Man made it to the MCU, to which he replies, “This is too big a question for me to answer.”
