“I am so fortunate that most of my work is routine, detail-oriented manual work. I work with a needle and thread, and if I’m not using it, I’m going to prick myself with a needle and ruin something, ”she continued. “It’s just that your whole life will fall apart and then develop your hand skill!”

When asked about one of the most talked about aspects of her divorce – John’s previous statements of wanting to be childless – Anna Marie said that she “always put partnership above children.” However, she is currently planning to freeze her eggs.

“There were things that I hadn’t even thought about before, because it was just a closed door. So now that it doesn’t feel like a closed door, I think about it a lot, ”she continued.

Anna Marie lives in a Connecticut house that she and John bought in June 2020, which you may recognize from her work, but she’s only ever lived there alone. The French bulldog she shared with John, Petunia, is featured in her profile, including “a painting of Petunia that someone who was an admirer of John painted and then gifted to him in an exhibition” placed on the windowsill. When asked if John wanted a painting, Anna Maria replied, “I don’t think so.”

However, after all the grief of 2021, Anne-Marie’s affairs are starting to improve. “I’m lucky to be on the cusp of all these new things that I might possibly experience and who knows how they’ll Go?” She added. “And there is definitely something exciting about it.”
