Beauty and the four remaining “wunderkinds” underwent a makeover during Monday’s episode of the reality show, and one of them received instant approval from her “beauty” who jumped into his arms for a lingering kiss.
Check out the impressive changes below…
Victorian musician Jason, 29, has undergone perhaps the biggest transformation overnight, shedding his shaggy hair and beard and taking to the stage with a noticeable new air of confidence and even several male model poses.
He said he’s changed a lot since the show started, explaining that on his first day, he “could barely stand within 20 meters of the beauties”.
Jason elicited an uproar from the rest of the members, one of whom summed up the mood by saying, “Who the hell is THIS?”
The beauty he was paired with, Emily, couldn’t stop screaming.
“When I saw myself in the mirror, I didn’t recognize myself. I saw someone new… almost like a long-lost brother or something. It was really wild to see myself like that,” Jason said.
“I feel like a burden has been lifted from me. Something as simple as not having a beard to mess around with or facial hair to block my view of things is extremely powerful for my confidence.”
NSW train driver Aaron said he went “so far” on the show, listing several of his “firsts”.
“I overcame my fear of dogs, jumped off a train through a firewall, posed shirtless and grew up like that. Through this experience, I have changed so much,” he said.
Showing up after the makeover with a new haircut and outfit, Aaron said he felt “so, so happy… I’m ready to start living right now.”
His beauty Carly was full of praise, calling him her “sexy Aaron chiny ball”.
Anthony, 26, a self-proclaimed Harry Potter superfan, suffered from bullying in high school and never regained his confidence from his injury.
Therefore, it is understandable that his transformation was an emotional experience – he shed a tear, or shed two tears, when he first looked at himself in the mirror.
“It was very emotional,” he said. “It was like, ‘Why can’t you love yourself? Why can’t you be proud of who you are?”
Luckily, his hottie Tegan was his biggest cheerleader, calling the newcomer Anthony “the bad boy rich sugar daddy.”
Fans who have watched this season know that 25-year-old kid-party artist Michael has already developed a close bond with his beautiful Tara.
However, it was a shock when Michael stepped out in his new form, and a stunned Tara immediately threw herself into his arms to give him a long, drawn-out kiss on the lips.
For Michael, it was the result of a dream.
“It was so romantic. I dreamed of such a moment. I felt very, very happy… very eager. I didn’t know she could move so fast in heels! he said.
Tara couldn’t hide her delight at Michael’s new look.
“Obviously I fell in love with you before (makeover), but that’s the icing on the cake — I’m not complaining,” she said.
“Sexual bonus?” asked presenter Sophie Monk.
“I’m glad to be your sexy bonus,” Michael said.
After that favorite moment, it was a bittersweet end to the episode as Jason and Emily were eliminated from the competition.
The four transformations come after contestant Christopher underwent a major transformation last week.
