Andrew Wyatt, publisher of R. Kelly, has cleared up remarks made by Bill Cosby about R. Kelly.
“As Mr. Cosby’s publisher, I have the right to my opinion and my opinion is not a reflection of Mr. Cosby’s. Yes, I think Robert Kelly was the railroad and these were my words, not Mr. Cosby’s. I will continue to reflect because the First Amendment allows me to have privileges like the media. Thank you very much, “he wrote.
Last week, Wyatt said the infamous star was “Railroad.”
Free R. Kelly Rally.
“Stacked against Deck Roberts,” Wyatt said at the time. “His constitutional rights were ruthlessly abused. I don’t know, but in the United States, in this country, a documentary can bring criminal charges against someone.”
“No one fought hard for it,” Wyatt said, and his lawyers “didn’t make it humanitarian.”
Cosby faces an immediate reaction to the remarks, but Wyatt now says that was all and Cosby was not.
