Journey of Healing. Kelly Rizzo openly talked about the process of mourning after the death of her husband, comedian Bob Saget.
“All my heart. Bob was my absolute everything,” the Eat Travel Rock founder said in a statement to Us weekly in January 2022. “I am completely broken and do not believe. I am so deeply moved by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, his fans and his peers.”
Saget was declared dead at the age of 65 after he was found unconscious in his Florida hotel room on January 9. A week later, he was buried in an emotional service attended by his loved ones and Full house colleagues.
“He laid everything out. He told everyone that he loved, and I mean, quite frankly, to everyone he met – even spent some time with them – he told them that he loved them endlessly and relentlessly, and that was his whole message. Saget’s friends and family included his fans in the process of mourning, often thanking them for their love and support. “In the weeks since Bob’s death, we have been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful,” the Saget family said.
