BRITNEY Spears has admitted she feels like “a huge part of her soul has died” after being cut off from her teenage sons.
The singer took to Instagram early in the morning for a bizarre rant in a series of posts in which she discussed her relationship with 15-year-old Jayden and 16-year-old Preston.
Earlier this month, Britney, 40, hit back after her ex-husband Kevin Federline said their sons no longer wanted to see their mother.
The high-profile statements led the superstar to use the harrowing social media post to blame his boys for what they “hated”.
After teens offered her an olive branch in a candid interview, Britney responded in a post that she felt her “heart stopped beating” when her sons “cut her off”.
“I used to have kids, a lot more than Kevin, but people don’t remember that part because they always focus on the negative,” she began the audio clip.
“When they were six to nine years old, I had them 70 percent of the time, and of course since they left, I felt like a huge part of me had died.
“I literally have no purpose anymore – they were my joy, they were my everything. It was what I lived for.
“Then suddenly they disappeared and my heart seemed to stop beating.”
“I don’t understand how it’s so easy for them to cut me like that, I just don’t understand it,” she concluded the post.
It comes after Britney’s sons broke their silence about their toxic family split before offering their mom an olive branch.
In an emotional address to Britney, Jayden said: “I love you very much and hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down and talk.”
In an interview last month on Sunday, former professional dancer Kevin, 44, revealed that their boys stopped dating Britney after they became increasingly uncomfortable during their dates.
In an Instagram post that has since been deleted, she accused the teens of “leaving her” and “hating her”, begging them to love her again.
Kevin consulted with his family before posting videos of Britney allegedly “yelling” at her sons when they were younger.
He then deleted them, explaining that he had to protect his children after years of silence, but Jayden and Preston opened up.
Jayden said: “The environment she created for us was not very comfortable for me and my brother.
“When you are 10 or 11 years old, then you come to understand things. No hate. . . I really want to see her again. It will make me happy, and it will make Preston happy.
Britney invited her sons to her star-studded wedding in June to model and personal trainer Sam Asgari, 28, but they didn’t show up.
Jayden explains: “It wasn’t the right time to do it. I’m not saying I’m not happy for her.
“I’m very happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family, and if it was just me and Preston, I don’t see how this situation would have ended in a good way.”
