Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland ‘had issues’ before split

Saw it. Cast OS sale knew that Brittany Snow as well as Tyler Stanaland had issues prior to their split, exclusive source says Us weekly.

“It was known that they had problems before – to the point that no one knows,” says the insider, noting that the actors “were in the dark about their personal lives,” but the breakup “was not a complete surprise.”

“They knew there were problems, it’s just that there is more to this story than they know,” the source explains.

Stanaland, 33, sparked rumors of a rocky relationship with Snow, 36, when OS sale fell in August, and the real estate mogul admitted that his colleague Kayla Cardona made a move on him – several times.

“One night Kayla tried to kiss me. And then it happened the other night, too,” the Laguna Beach native revealed on an episode of the Real Life with Kate Casey podcast last month. “On the show, out of respect for her, I just try to keep it to a minimum and move on so that… there is no drama. We can all focus on what we need to do.”

The former professional surfer noted that he had to “set some hard lines and boundaries” with Cardona, confirming that “nothing happened” between them. “It was just… something that, you know, they don’t do to married people,” he said at the time.

However, Cardona had a slightly different view of the situation. “I won’t flirt with someone unless I feel like I’m starting to flirt.[ed] back,” she said exclusively Us in August. “I definitely felt the reciprocity.”

While an insider tells Us that an Oppenheim Group employee “flirts” during filming, he never crossed a line with his co-stars.

“He has always been appropriate with everyone,” the source shares. “As far as I understand, no one knows that he cheated on Brittany with another girl. It’s nothing that has been confirmed. I don’t think he actually cheated.”

Earlier this month, Stanaland opened exclusively to Us about the awkward moment with Cardona, claiming that Snow was fully aware of what had happened.

“She was watching it. I mean, she thought, like everyone else, that it was funny. It’s a lot, but it’s good,” he explained, adding that they had long ago made the decision to “share our professional lives.”

According to an insider, Stanaland probably said Pitch perfect star about filming but “missed out details” due to not knowing what the final cut would do.

“No one in the cast knows what will be broadcast and what will be cut. It’s possible he could have kept quiet about these intimate details and then for her to find out from someone else, it can certainly cause tension,” the source explains, noting that Hair spray the actress could “feel disrespected” if something blinded her.

“That’s why they’re splitting up – to see if it can be salvaged or not,” adds the insider.

Almost family The alum and Stanaland, who began dating in 2018, tied the knot in March 2020. Two years later, the duo announced they were ending their relationship.

“After some thought and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to part ways. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for each other,” Stanaland. posted via instagram on Wednesday, September 14th. “We realized that we need to take some time and make sure that each of us lives our most fulfilling and authentic lives. We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but also for our dog Charlie. We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for your privacy as we study this new chapter.”

The Florida native, for her part, posted a similar message on Instagram the same day, replacing Stanaland’s name with her own.
