Cheryl Tweedy believes she was visited by the spirit of her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding.
It comes a year after Cheryl revealed the couple had made a pact for Sarah, who passed away last September at the age of 39, to visit her.
Cheryl commented 5 minutes on podcast and said she was convinced Sarah approached her while she was in the car after Girls Aloud Hear Me Out — the same title as Sarah’s autobiography — started playing when nothing was on.
She explained: “Last year I went to Newcastle and fiddled with my car for a few weeks trying to get Bluetooth to work but couldn’t.
“It pissed me off so much that I gave up and put it off for a couple of months.
“I got in the car and heard Hear Me Out playing, my phone wasn’t on, the music hadn’t been remade, nothing, I hadn’t even plugged it in yet and Hear Me Out was playing via Bluetooth.
“I laughed and then cried. What did she name the book after? Listen to me, that was her business.”
Cheryl, 39, previously said that she and Sarah discussed their spirituality, and Sarah promised to visit Cheryl after her death.
She said: “I think of myself as a spiritual person and I think Sarah is too, so there was honesty between us when we talked about what could have been.
“I have always believed that the end of our life on planet Earth is not the end of everything, and that when it ends, we will go to an incredible place.
“We also agreed that if and when she leaves us, she will come back and visit me.
“We haven’t decided exactly what form she can take or what sign she can give so I know it’s her, but I said I don’t mind as long as she doesn’t come when I’m in the toilet. ”
Cheryl, along with her Girls Aloud bandmates Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, raised thousands of pounds in Sarah’s honor this past weekend at the Race For Life event in London’s Hyde Park.
Sarah died after being diagnosed with advanced breast cancer and spent precious time with women before her death.
Cheryl is not the only member of the group who believes that Sarah visited her.
Last year, Nadine said she believes Sarah’s spirit is moving things around her house.
She said, “She has definitely made her presence known several times.
“There were a couple of days when my headphones just flew across the table when I sat and did my makeup.
“It happened three days in a row for no reason, they just flew over.
“Girls with hair and makeup were like, ‘It has to be Sarah, there’s no reason they could fly so far.’
“And then I was talking about her one night at my house, and something flew off the shelf. I thought, “Is this Sarah? Is she just throwing things around?
“It’s so fresh and I still think she’ll call, I’m still at that stage. Then something was flying around, and I thought, “Could it be…?”
