Country star John Michael Montgomery seriously injured in car crash –

John Michael Montgomery suffered cuts and broken ribs when his tour bus crashed early Saturday morning.

Montgomery told fans in a Facebook post about the crash that he was “doing well” but would be out of the road for a while. Montgomery and two other men were injured in the accident.

The accident happened as the bus was approaching Montgomery’s home state of Kentucky. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report, the vehicle “veered off the Interstate, hit an embankment and overturned.”

The report states that Montgomery was riding in a 2001 Prevost Featherlite bus.

He wrote: “I am grateful to the medics and traffic police for their quick response to this difficult situation.”

The next stop on his tour is scheduled for September 24 in Indiana.

Montgomery has over 30 singles on the Billboard country music charts, including seven No. 1 hits. These include “I Love The Way You Love Me”, “I Swear”, “Be My Baby Tonight”, “If You Have Love”, “I Can Love You Like This”, “Sold (Grundy County Auction Incident ). )” and “Little Girl”.

He has released seven studio albums.
