Episode title “Better Call Saul” is so good it might troll us

That’s right: according to the TV programming website TV Passport and confirmed by AMC itself via AV clubthe title of Better Call Saul, season 6, episode 11, would be Breaking Bad.

Could this mean we will finally see Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in Better Call Saul? Anything is possible, but with an episode title as blatant as Breaking Bad, it’s natural to wonder if the whole thing could be some sort of carefully crafted misdirection. The only other clue we have is a short and sweet plot synopsis for the episode: “Partners take their venture to the next level.” Which, again, is so well-heard that it might make you wonder if this episode is actually related to Breaking Bad at all.

Either way, the title provides precise synchronicity with the first appearance of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) in Breaking Bad. As you may remember, this momentous event takes place in Season 2, Episode 8 of the original series, which is called Better Call Saul.

Fans will have to wait until the episode airs on AMC on August 1st to find out who exactly in Better Call Saul will be going all out and why!
