Triangle of sadness Actor Harris Dickinson pays tribute to his late co-star Charlby Dean on the day their film screens at the Toronto Film Festival.

In an Instagram post posted by Dickinson this morning, the actor said today’s screening will “mark” Dean’s performance.

“Charlby, in the short time we have known and worked with each other, you have been a huge influence,” Dickinson writes. “Kind and generous, as people only hope to be. I will miss you friend. See you on the other side. Tonight at @tiff_net we are celebrating your performance in this very special film from our fearless leader @ruben_ostlund. Our full love and support to Charlby’s family and loved ones x”

Dean, South African model and actor who has made numerous appearances on The CW. Black Lightning but achieved her breakthrough movie in a festival hit Triangle of sadness, died August 29 at the age of 32 in New York. Although she was reportedly suffering from a lung infection at the time, the official cause of death was not released.

Tonight’s Toronto screening starts at 9:30 pm at the Princess of Wales Theatre.
