Her Majesty passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Thursday with her family by her side.

Holly, who shares her children with her husband, television producer Dan Baldwin, took to her Instagram page to share their bitter day.

She captured her trio looking thoughtfully at the hundreds of flowers left outside the palace before capturing only daughter Belle placing the card on top of the bouquet.

In her caption, the ITV presenter wrote: “Time to reflect and pay tribute…the kids have written the most beautiful words…♥️.”

Her This Morning co-stars were quick to respond, with Vanessa Feltz writing, “We were just there. So emotional 🌸🌸🌸.”

Alison Hammond simply added, “❤️❤️.”

One fan then added, “This is where my kids laid flowers. It’s great to see so many people paying their respects!”

Holly, along with pop superstar Elton John, were the first to headline celebrity tributes since the Queen’s death.

After a grim announcement Thursday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the longest-serving monarch in British history has passed away, making her son Charles king.

Holly wrote, “Thank you for your lifelong service and humble commitment to duty.”

Reacting to the heartbreaking news, Tiny Dancer vocalist Elton wrote: “Together with the entire nation, I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.

“She was an inspiring presence to be around and guide the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace, decency and genuine caring warmth.

“Queen Elizabeth has been a huge part of my life from childhood to this day and I will miss her greatly.”

Meanwhile, TalkTV host Piers Morgan called her “the greatest monarch in history.”

“So far, this is one of the saddest and most significant turning points in the history of the United Kingdom,” he told viewers.

“There is no one in this country or in the world who has not lived most of his life under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
