I have heard that if we go on strike, some members may continue to work but others will not. Is it true?

The strike will affect all of us, but some agreements will remain in force and are not subject to this conflict. These include sports broadcasting, low budget theater, pay television (HBO, showtimes, stars), commercial deals, music video production deals, and some independent deals. Most of our work is not covered by these agreements. The Pay Television Agreement only covers products manufactured by PayCable companies for display on their PayCable channels. Can I work non-union during the strike?

What if I am on the spot when the strike starts?

Your employer still needs to legally arrange and pay for the return of you and your belongings. The employer is responsible for your accommodation and daily living unless they make arrangements for you to leave home. What do I need to do this week before the strike?

What if I’m working from home?

If you have items provided by your employer in your home, you should let them know they need to find a way to get them back.

Will I be expected to walk the packet line or will I somehow support the strike?
