Tom Cruise fans were in awe of the star’s youthful look last night.
The Top Gun 2 actor, who turns 60 in July, was interviewed by Philip Schofield and Julie Etchingham during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Many viewers commented on how good he looked, tweeting, “Tom Cruise is keeping me awake. He still looks hot.”
Another wrote: “Gosh, Tom Cruise looks like Tom Cruise again” – after pictures of the star at a baseball game in San Francisco last year showed he had a much fuller face.
At the time, fans wondered if he had failed fillers, with one tweet: “What did Tom Cruise do to his face?”
With his boyish looks and lack of wrinkles, plastic surgery rumors have haunted the actor for years.

Though he constantly denies going under the knife, fans have speculated that the forever young star has undergone nose surgery, hair transplants and Botox, as well as dental veneers.
Alice Henshaw, owner and practitioner Harley Street injectablespreviously told Kristen Bell Tattoos that the hair transplant rumors could be true.
“At nearly 60 years old, Tom’s hairline has remained roughly the same, although it has thinned a little, suggesting that he may have had a hair transplant.”
As the debate resumes, we take a look at how the star’s face has changed over the years.
1982
Tom’s trademark smile has always been part of his charm, but he wasn’t born with a perfect smile.
When he starred in The Outsiders in 1982, his teeth were noticeably yellowed and misaligned, with a pronounced malocclusion.
He also removed the cap from his chipped front tooth to make himself appear even more menacing.
But when hero status beckoned, with roles like Maverick in Top Gun, he had his teeth whitened to improve his appearance.
1986
When his career reached dizzying heights with the release of Top Gun in 1996, the 24-year-old still retained much of his boyish charm and lean face.
His role as young naval aviator Lieutenant Pete “Maverick” Mitchell cemented his reputation as a Hollywood heartthrob.
1996
In 1996, Tom mixed an unusual look with a neat haircut, coarse facial hair and long flowing locks.
In the same year, he played the title role in Jerry Maguire, for which he received a Golden Globe and a second Oscar nomination.
2002
It wasn’t until 2001, after breaking up with Nicole Kidman, that Tom got braces to correct his overbite, proudly showing them off at the premiere of Minority Report.
But fans were still commenting on his asymmetrical teeth, which caused one front tooth to line up with the center of his face.
2006
At 44, Tom looked less haggard than in his youth, ingrown into his face.
His chiseled jaw and killer smile made fans fall at his feet.
2010
By 2010, Tom’s face began to change, sometimes becoming puffier, possibly due to weight fluctuations.
The superfit star pushed himself to the limit whenever he was in stunt action films, but also put on a few pounds between films.
2012
Rumors that the star had surgery on his nose appeared back in 2012, but when asked by Playboy magazine if he had ever had surgery, he replied: “No, and I never will.”
But Cube’s pal Gooding Jr. added fuel to the fire, saying Tom “absolutely” did the job.
Cuba told an American TV show, “I don’t know what he did, but I remember surprising him one day at his house and he had all these dots all over his face.
“I’m like, ‘Are you okay?’ and he says, “I didn’t know you were coming,” and I’m like, “I see why.”
Alice Henshaw explained that the dots can indicate many types of surgical or non-surgical procedures that make the skin firmer and younger.
She said: “There are often dots or marks when we mark injection points on the face, but we do this for filler injections, Profhilo (collagen stimulator) or even for a radiofrequency skin tightening procedure such as Thermage, or Medical Ultrasound Tightening. skin like an ultraformer.”
2016
Tom’s appearance at the 2016 BAFTAs led fans to comment on how he looks “puffed up” and “chubby” – a common symptom of both Botox and fillers.
“In 2016, Tom looked like he had filler under his eyes and around his mouth and in the nasolabial fold,” Alice said.
“But recent photos of a baseball game show swelling that is not related to fillers.”
Dental experts also suggested that he had veneers added to make his dazzling smile even whiter.
2018
At the premiere of Mission: Impossible: Fallout in 2018, Tom looked slimmer with more wrinkles on his forehead.
While this could be due to the grueling workout regimen and work schedule for the film, which he also produced, it could also mean he ditched fillers and Botox after the 2016 photos drew unwanted attention.
2021
Snaps of the star at a baseball game last year raised eyebrows again. They came in hot pursuit of Tom’s shots at a curry house in Birmingham, where his face also looked “puffy”.
Alice said it could be Tom, like so many of us, who just put on a few pounds during lockdown.
“It would be hard to tell if it was weight gain without seeing a full photo of his body,” she added.
However, during the summer appearances at Wimbledon and Wembley, he was not overweight.
Alice said the Mission: Impossible star looks “swollen” – possibly from going under the knife.
“Tom definitely looks puffy and puffy, which could be due to the filler, post-procedure puffiness, or weight gain,” she explained.
“I believe he has had fillers under his eyes and around his mouth and nose in the past, but this time it’s different.

“A side view of him shows that his neck is also very swollen. The filler will not be placed in this area, which means it will not be a filler, but rather swelling or weight gain.
“Often, surgical procedures such as a platysma repair or a neck lift combined with a midface lift can create this type of swelling in these areas, and the scars are easy to mask.”
