Lopez shared that her mother always wanted to raise her and her sisters alone to teach them that they never have to rely on men and can do everything on their own. The singer said that she is a “super complex” person.

Lupe responded to Lopez’s comments by saying, “I’ve always had the highest hopes for them. It shouldn’t have been critical. It was only to show you that you can do better. And Jennifer, she gave me the hardest times, to be honest. We fought a lot.”

J-Lo recently introduced Emma on stage for a duet at the Blue Diamond Gala at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

Emme was introduced on stage using the pronouns they/they, much to the delight of many viewers.

Introducing Emma on stage, Lopez said:

“The last time we performed together was in a stadium as big as this one and I keep asking them to sing with me and they don’t want to. So this is a very special case. They are very, very busy. Booked. And expensive.

Lopez continued about her 14-year-old child:

“They cost me when they come out. But they are worth every penny because they are my favorite duet partners of all time. So if you let me indulge.”

Emme has a twin, Max, who Lopez had with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
