John Stamos shares an emotional tribute to the late Bob Saget on Day 23 –

John Stamos may have come to D23 to talk about the second season of his Disney+ show. big shot but he took the time to show affection to his old pal Bob Saget.

After discussing the October 12 return of his comedy-drama from David E. Kelly, Dean Laurie and Brad Garrett, Stamos took the stage alone to share personal stories about the last time he spent time with his Full house co-star who died in January at the age of 65.

They went to Disneyland, of course.

“I don’t remember what rides we went to, I don’t remember what we ate, I remember the feelings we had,” Stamos recalled breathlessly. “We felt the unspoken love that happens between grown men dressed in pajamas. Winnie the Pooh said that every day that I spend with you is my favorite day. Every day I spent with Bob was my favorite, especially that day at Disneyland. Being able to share that memory with you today is my new favorite memory. Bob never left anything on the table. He was pompous in his love.”

Stamos then made a special request to the crowd. “Let’s attend. As you know, we will never be able to get back that time with people. Such goodness is possible. there are compassionate souls ready to help. It’s our duty to Disney. I ask you this, please, may the work and happiness created in this magical place here remain with us there.”

Saget was best known for his role as Danny Tanner in Full house, which ran from 1987 to 1995 on ABC. He then reprized his role in the Netflix sequel. Fuller Housewhich aired for five seasons.
