After it seems like Britney Spears has put her trauma behind her, embracing the new life she’s earned for herself, it’s up to someone else to bring everything back to the surface. Instead of another family member, it’s none other than her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. After a decade of silence, Federline added fuel to the fire and made some bold statements that brought in their two teenage sons Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15.
Federline first speaks daily mail that the boys decided not to see Spears for several months, hinting that it was because of her nude photos on social media. He said: “The boys have decided they can’t see her right now. It’s been several months since they haven’t seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.”
He then said that it’s so “hard” for them to be in high school when their mom posts nude photos on social media. “I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe this is just another way she’s trying to express herself.’ But that doesn’t change the fact that it does to them. It’s hard. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a teenager who has to go to high school.”
Spears’ husband then offered conflicting opinions about his ex’s custody battle. He said he told his sons that her 13-year tutelage, with her family controlling her every step in finances, career and personal life, did her good. “They had a lot of questions about it. I don’t know if I can answer all the questions for them, but I was just trying to explain to them that your mom needs help, you know, and people were in the game to try and make it better. ”
On top of that, he even said he’d like to see Spears’ father and former conservative back in his kids’ lives, citing how he feels “bad” for him. “I would really like to see Jamie Spears back in the lives of boys. Especially if that’s what the boys wanted,” he said. “I have no hard feelings towards Jamie Spears. People make mistakes. I feel bad for him. I feel like he went through a spin.”
He added: “When Jamie came to power, everything worked out. He saved her life.”
Okay, breathe, we know this was very important. But Spears’ husband Sam Asghari came to her rescue, saying, “To clarify, my wife has never posted nude selfies, except for her ass, which is quite modest these days. All other posts implied nudity, which can be seen in any advertisement for lotion or soap. His claim that children are distancing has no basis, and it is irresponsible to make that claim publicly. The boys are very smart, they will soon be 18 and will be able to make their own decisions and maybe eventually realize that the “hard” part was that the father, who had not worked for more than 15 years, was a role model. It’s safe to say that Asghari has gone to his Instagram stories.
