Kim Kardashian has been heavily criticized by fans after a new video surfaced on Reddit.
The reality TV star shamed the “too thin” trend that was taking place at the time, years before she caused concern about her thinner body.
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney appeared on The Tyra Banks Show many years ago.
The sisters and the host talked about women’s clothing sizes, which caused controversy.
A fan posted the clip on Reddit and Tyra can be heard saying, “A girl is a size 12 or 14.”
Kim interrupted her by saying, “But do you really think this skinny one is cute? Me not”.
“Yes,” Tyra said while her sisters were silent.
“I don’t know,” the reality TV star continued. “Even if I was like that, I would say, ‘I want to go out to eat.'”
“I mean, we all love food too much to not even have it in our…” Kim said before Khloe chimed in with a “Yes.”
The audience laughed and then the clip showed them talking later in the show.
Tyra continued, “And it’s so sad to say, but in our society right now. Super, super slender stick, size zero, must be the most beautiful thing in the world.”
The Kardashians agreed as the model continued, “And the minute you get some curves, you’re considered plus size, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”
Kim purred “Mmm-hmm” before the video ended.
A Reddit user posted a video on the platform with the caption, “But do you really think skinny is cute?” as the tables turned.”
Many fans agreed and gave their opinion.
“They love to eat too much, but Kim got mad at Kendall for that cookie in the hut, Martha Stewart said they push food on plates and barely eat, Kim and Khloe lost so much weight in about 2-3 months restricting their calories and that similar. ‘ said one fan.
“What a disgusting comment,” wrote another.
A third intervened: “It’s terrible to talk.”
Another posted a gif of a scene from The Office with the caption, “Well, well, well, how things have changed.”
One fan simply said, “Oh lol.”
GOT TOO FUR?
Earlier this week, Kim made a splash when she showed off her toned figure in a skin-tight bodysuit.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum posted a video on her Instagram page of herself showing off her wet all-in-one look.
The clothes were tight around her body, exposing her toned tummy at the gym.
At the same time, the thin shoulder strap of Good American clothes showed off her tanned, toned shoulders.
Kim held the camera in front of her face as she filmed the video in her closet.
She wore minimal make-up, and her blond hair spilled over her shoulders.
Kim addressed Khloe’s sister in her video as she hissed, “Khloe, I’m wearing your Good American bodysuit. I like it.
“How cute is that?”
After she turned to the side and posed with her hand on her hip, the video played.
Kim’s figure began to lose weight when she went on a diet for the Met Gala.
She wanted to fit into the iconic dress in which Marilyn Monroe sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President, to President John F. Kennedy.”
The reality TV star revealed that she had lost 16 pounds. to fit into a $5 million dress.
Speaking with Fashion On the Met Gala red carpet, Kim showed what she had to go through to fit into the dress.
The 41-year-old made a short trip to Orlando, Florida, where the dress was stocked at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Kim shared, “I had an idea to try this on, and then they came with armed guards and gloves.”
The dress didn’t fit the mum-of-four’s signature curves at first, but that didn’t stop her from wearing it to the Met.
She told the magazine, “I tried it on and it didn’t fit. I said, “Give me three weeks.”
“I needed to lose 16 pounds today.”
Kim continued, “It was such a challenge. [movie] role. I was determined to comply [into] It. I didn’t eat carbs or sugar for about three weeks.
“We’re having a pizza and donut party at the hotel. [after the Met Gala].”
The dress was designed by Jean Louis and originally cost $12,000.
Kardashian fans thought Kim had gone too far with her weight loss when she revealed she lost 21 pounds in total.
The Hulu star appeared on the TODAY Show in June and told the hosts that she was no longer losing weight.
After hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb raved about Kim’s stunning ensemble at the gala, the model explained how much time she spent wearing the tight dress, including changing her curvaceous figure.
“I looked at it like a role, and I really wanted to wear this dress … It was really important for me,” she exclaimed about her significant weight loss.
But the “role” appears to have been life-changing for the mom of four, as she says she continued to diet long after stepping off the red carpet.
“It actually taught me a lot about my lifestyle and my health and I have continued to eat right ever since. I mean, now I have lost 21 pounds,” she admitted.
Despite the drastic weight loss, Kim said she has no plans to drop any more pounds, although she has a healthier outlook on her eating habits.
“I am no longer trying to lose weight, but I have more energy than ever. I eliminated so much sugar, so much junk food that I was eating, I didn’t even realize it. Lots of fried food and I just completely changed my lifestyle,” she concluded.
Even though Kim was pleased with her tiny body, her family, friends and fans showed concern for her.
Since she lost weight, she has shown off her new body many times on social media.
