Gordon Ramsay continues to cook more Chef at Fox.
The network has renewed its series of cooking competitions for a 13th season.
Season 12 concludes tonight with three chefs competing for the top prize of $250,000.
Starring Ramsay, chef Aaron Sanchez and restaurateur Joe Bastianich, the series is picking up competitors for next season.
Fox said the show has an average of 4.7 million viewers across platforms.
Produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato, the series is based on the format created by Frank Roddam and is executive produced by Ramsay, Elizabeth Murdoch, Danny Schrader, Pat Llewellyn, Ben Adler, Sharon Levy and DJ Nurre.
It comes when Ramsay creates a number of shows on the network, including Next Level Chefranked first after the Super Bowl the following year, Hell’s Kitchen as well as Food stars.
Fox, which is partnering with Ramsay’s production venture Studio Ramsay Global, is essentially creating its own expanded universe with chef and reality show host Rob Wade, who recently told KristenBellTattoos.com that there’s still room on the web for more Ramsay cars.
But he added that he knows about the schedule.
“Maybe we’re going to take them apart so it doesn’t feel like they’re lying on top of each other. The theory is very similar to ABC with Bachelor, make them all year round. In summer you can have Chefin autumn you can Hell’s Kitchen and then a short break before Next Level Chef as well as food stars. This means they blend into each other rather than lying on top of each other,” he added.
