The British royal family continues to grow – and each new arrival brings with it even more enchanting moments not to be missed!
Queen Elizabeth II’s first great-granddaughter, Savannah Ann Catlin, was born in December 2010. Princess Annason, Peter Phillipsand his now estranged wife, Autumn. The eldest of the younger generation of the royal family became a big sister in March 2012 when Isla Elizabeth joined the family.
And then there was Prince George! Son Prince William as well as Duchess Kate the whole world had him wrapped around his finger when he was born in July 2013. As the Queen’s first great-grandson, George was third in line to the throne upon his arrival.
“May he be long-lived, happy and glorious, and one day reign over us!” shouted the royal crier before the announcement of George’s birth outside Buckingham Palace. “God save the queen!”
Over the years, many new cousins have been added to the list of lifelong friends. Mia, first child Zara Tindall (née Phillips) and her husband, Mike Tindallwas born in January 2014. This was followed by George’s younger sister, Princess Charlotte, who became fourth in line to the throne in May 2015. Her younger brother, Prince Louis, arrived three years later in April 2018.

Zara and Mike’s second daughter, Lena, was born two months after Louis in June 2018. William and Kate’s children had their own cousin when Prince Harry as well as Meghan Markle welcomed their son Archie in May 2019.
In 2021, three more children were quickly added to the family. Princess Eugeniethe first child, son August, was born in February 2021, followed by Zara and Mike’s son, Lucas, who made his debut in May of that year.
A month later, in June 2021, Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilbeth Diana was born. Although her name is in honor of her great-grandmother Elizabeth, her middle name (like her cousin Charlotte Elizabeth Diana!) is a tribute to Harry and William’s late mother. , Princess Diana.
The Queen died in September 2022. She was 96 years old.
“The Queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon,” the palace said in a statement at the time. “The King and Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral tonight and return to London tomorrow.”
Elizabeth is succeeded by her eldest son, King Charles III.
