JORDAN Craig, Tristan Thompson’s first mother, mourns the passing of her father Carl.
The film producer, who has produced everything from movies like Mo’ Money and House Party 3 to TV shows like The Real Husbands of Hollywood and The Bobby Brown Story, passed away over the weekend.
The cause of death has not yet been reported.
Thursday Jordan shared her thoughts on Instagram.
“Every single day the hardest thing for me is to wake up and face this new reality,” she wrote. “I just don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get myself together to accept it, let alone write about you in the past tense.
“You are the BIGGEST example of a man – the perfect husband for 38, father of 3, brother of 6, friend and colleague to so many.
“When I was growing up, all my peers thought of you as their father… that’s how dedicated you were to being the perfect example of a father and I know that I am the happiest girl in the world that I have you!
“Today, although my pain is so incredibly deep, I can only be grateful that throughout my life you have properly prepared me for this time.
“Without a doubt, you have given me all the tools, wisdom and knowledge I need to succeed in this world on my own.”
Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars also shared their condolences.
Tiffany Haddish wrote: “It hurts a lot … You taught me so much in this matter. You defended me, pushed, scolded, advised, congratulated. I love you and will keep in my memory and tear my heart”
Tisha Campbell mused: “Heartbroken to hear of the death of Carl Craig. What a wonderful person and I will forever remember our on-set dinners and our impressive conversations about everything from business to religion.”
Till Vivica Fox commented, “He was such a creative and kind gentleman!
BABY MOM DRAMA
Grieving, Jordan finds herself a bystander in the unfolding scandalous drama about her ex-boyfriend Tristan’s baby.
Jordan is a social media influencer and lifestyle blogger who has her own website where she promotes healthy lifestyle and style.
She met Tristan in 2014 and they were together for about two years. They have a 5-year-old son, Prince.
The couple broke up sometime in 2016, but the exact time is unknown.
Tristan began dating Khloe Kardashian in August of that year, but was always adamant that he and Jordan had already broken up before they got back together.
In July 2019, he addressed rumors of his ex cheating with the Kardashians.
He tweeted: “When I met Chloe I was single. The negative comments that are constantly addressed to her are unnecessary.
“She doesn’t deserve all the backlash for my misdeeds. Both Chloe and Jordan have been nothing short of amazing mothers to my children.”
However, Tristan continued to cheat on Chloe, recently admitting he fathered a child with fitness instructor Marali Nichols.
In an Instagram statement, Tristan apologized for refuting Marali’s claims that he was the father of a month-old baby boy.
“Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to raising our son together,” Tristan said in a statement.
“I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended or disappointed during this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
