While California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been somewhat reluctant to debate the man running against him this fall, he has laid out a detailed proposal for a debate with a different politician 2,500 miles away.
“Hey @GovRonDeSantis,” Newsom wrote on Twitter this afternoon, “obviously you’re struggling, distracted, and busy playing politics with people’s lives. Because you only need one thing – attention – Let’s take it up and discuss it.”
Newsom also tagged @CNN, apparently as the proposed host of the debate.
He also responded to DeSantis’ “Hair Gel”. Laughter On the first day, I’d say — “I think her hair gel is interfering with her brain” — with “I’ll bring my hair gel. You bring your hair spray. Election day.” Name the time before.”
