Nicki Minaj sues after woman accuses her of substance abuse

It looks like Nicki Minaj fed up with all the lies as she takes the legal route to deal with those who use social media to spread false claims.

In court documents received TMZ, Nicky has filed a lawsuit against a woman named Marley Greene who uses the pseudonym Nosey Heaux on her social platforms. The documents say Green posted a video on Monday accusing Niki of substance abuse. Not only that, she also made disturbing comments about Nicky’s one-year-old son, stating, “Your child will be a rapist too.”

Niki and her team mentioned that the video shared by Green had attracted attention, creating the possibility that people might believe the false claims made by Green. Niki’s lawyer Judd Berstein said the video has received more than 2,000 likes and more than 250 retweets, reaching a wide audience.

Niki sues for defamation as Green accused her of using cocaine, which she says she did not have. She is also seeking a jury to award damages of at least $75,000.

Burstein told TMZ,

β€œWhen this case is completed, she will no longer be allowed to use the Nosey Heaux name because we will take her trademark away from her when she does not have enough money to pay for the judgment. Anyone else who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer the same fate. My order is to sue anyone who harasses the media or social media who harms her with intentional lies. Eventually, the lesson will be learned.”

Niki spoke about the lawsuit on Twitter and tweeted:
