OBLOCK rapper ARoy was “shot to death” on camera during a Facebook Live following a violent fight in a Chicago parking lot.
Surya can confirm that the person shot in the video was indeed Aroy.
Chicago PD confirmed to The Sun that a 27-year-old man was shot at the Parkway Gardens low-income development in the 6400 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Chicago, Illinois.
He then confirmed that the man to die was Evian D. Givens – whose stage name is ARoy from the rap group O’Block.
The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds after a fight with another man.
Aroy was declared brought dead on arrival.
The fatal shooting took place on 13 December.
The murder unit is still investigating the murder and has yet to release further details, but the shooter – who fled the scene – is not yet in custody.
Police would not confirm the identity of the victim to The Sun as the investigation is still ongoing.

When Aroy was dropped on the ground, the people standing there shouted.
Following his tragic demise, a friend of Aroy’s exclusively told The Sun: “Aroy was very polite and witty and best friend to us.
“He was also the most outstanding father.
“His children will miss him dearly. “It’s really f**king hard.”
The friend said that the late rapper was the father of a young son and daughter.
Arroy was a member of the hip-hop group The Mistakes, while he was also part of the Chicago rap collective Only the Family.
The group was formed by Lil Dirk in 2010.
Following his demise, ARoy fans and friends took to his comment section on December 4, 2021 instagram Post respect.
One person wrote: “Hope God finds you in all your glory.”
Another added: “Rest in peace a real man.”
A third shouted: “Man what the fu**k.. rest in peace.”
