PETER Andre has revealed that he plans to move his family to Australia due to health issues with his mother, Thea.
The 49-year-old Mysterious Girl singer said he would move “as long as possible” after completing his work obligations.
Peter, who currently stars as a teenage angel in the musical Grease, said he finds the move challenging due to his kids’ schoolwork.
The pop star shares 17-year-old Junior and 15-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price, eight-year-old Amelia and five-year-old Theo with wife Emily McDonagh.
“If everything goes according to plan, then it will be December, and we will go to Oz with the whole family,” Peter said in his New magazine column.
“We want to get out there as soon as possible and stay there as long as possible, but with a children’s school it’s difficult.”
He added, “They have different timings, which makes it difficult.”
Last week, Peter opened up about his beloved mum Thea’s health issues after celebrating his parents’ 67th wedding anniversary.
Peter is very close to his mum and dad Savvas and recently joined them in Cyprus when the family vacationed together.
Pete, who also traveled to Australia to see his parents earlier in the year, enjoys every moment with them but said it’s sad to see age take its toll.
He said: “My parents celebrated their 67th birthday.th wedding anniversary last week. 67 years! It’s pretty amazing. Dad will be 90 next year and mom 86.
“However, at the moment, my mother is struggling. She doesn’t feel very well. She suffers a little and is on the wane.
“I was with her a few months ago. We just have to be with her as much as possible. It’s just age. She has a lot going on right now.”
Peter shared a rare photo of his parents to mark their special day.
The father of four admitted that the anniversary was a bittersweet holiday.
He said: “Happy 67th wedding anniversary mom and dad. I love you both with all my heart.
“I feel happy and sad posting this. I am happy, of course, from the fact that they have lived together for 67 years in marriage, but it is sad that age takes its toll, and especially my mother is really struggling.
Pete added: “I always pray for your health, both of you. I also pray that I can be at least half a parent to my children, as both of you are to me.”
Pop star Peter previously opened up about the hardships of living 9,000 miles away from his parents, who live in Australia.
Writing in it New magazine In the column, he said: “I feel great when I was not yet 50 years old.
“I was afraid that I would turn 40, but in fact my 40s were really amazing, I feel relaxed and very happy in a career and personal way.
“The only thing that worries me when I get another year older is that my parents are getting older and my mom’s health is really getting worse, which makes me sad.”
