PnB Rock topped the Apple Music charts with his 2016 hit “Selfish” just days after his death

Less than a week after he was tragically shot dead while dining at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles, PnB Rock has reached a musical milestone. According to eagle-eyed fans, PnB Rock topped the Apple Music charts with their 2016 hit song “Selfish.”

According to recent Chartdata, “Selfish” reached first place on the Apple Music Top Songs chart. Additionally, the track featured on his 2016 mixtape “GTTM: Goin’ Thru The Motions” currently has close to 350 million streams on Spotify, easily making it PnB Rock’s most popular song.

As we reported earlier, PnB Rock was shot and killed during an armed robbery at a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on September 12th.th. After further investigation, Los Angeles authorities and local FOX LA news outlets confirmed that he had died from his injuries.

An eyewitness at the scene posted a video from the restaurant showing a man lying in a pool of blood, who was unidentified at the time. The witness also stated that there was an armed robbery that resulted in the shooting of PnB Rock.

An officer who arrived at the scene of the shooting recalled the incident during interrogation, saying: “The victim was sitting at the table eating with the witness when the suspect approached him. The suspect then brandished a firearm and demanded his possessions. We don’t have an audio recording of what his exact exchange was at the time. The suspect then fired several shots and then appeared to have taken some property – to what extent, we don’t know.”
