While the Platinum Jubilee was intended to serve exclusively as a commemorative weekend in honor of the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, it also provided the backdrop for the return of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the United Kingdom and their public reunion with the royal family. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spent time with Prince Charles and introduced their daughter Lilibet to her great-grandmother, it looks like the time has not yet come for a reunion with the Cambridges. And from the looks of it, it seems that Prince William and Harry’s feud is still going on after the anniversary.
“Things are still fraught – William is still wary of spending any time alone with Harry as you never know what might be reported afterwards,” the source shared with Page six in a new report. Even if it seemed that the Platinum Jubilee was the place where Harry and William could finally put an end to their feud, there were still signs that the brothers’ relationship had not yet fully mended. Although the Cambridges and Sussexes attended the National Thanksgiving Service, they did not seem to recognize each other.

Then, on Lilibeth’s birthday, the Cambridge families, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were in Wales, taking on additional duties on the occasion of the anniversary. While most reports seemed to suggest that Harry and Meghan spent time reuniting with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, it appears that the Cambridges and Sussexes have not had the opportunity to get together.
Now, there could be a number of reasons why William and Harry didn’t reunite during the Jubilee. William and his family took on more responsibilities and responsibilities instead of Queen Elizabeth II, and the attention the brothers might have attracted could have detracted from the long-time ruler’s memorable weekend. However, we hope that if William and Harry haven’t been able to mend their relationship during the Platinum Anniversary, they’re doing so in private video chats and calls – away from prying eyes.
