During a recent roundtable interview with Cynthia Erivo wrap, Paulson again addressed the criticism surrounding his portrayal of Tripp.

Paulson claimed, “It hurt my feelings, but partly because it felt like, as is often the case when you’re criticized for your work, it’s so hard not to personalize it.”

This isn’t the first time Paulson has defended her portrayal of Trip.
