She shared the news that her son Shane passed away just days after she tweeted a series of desperate requests for him to return home.

Just two days ago, Sinead wrote, “This is a message for my son Shane. Shane, this disappearance is no longer funny. You scare the hell out of me. Could you please do the right thing and report to the police station. “

Sinead also criticized the hospital where Shane was under “suicide watch” for letting him “go missing.”

She wrote:

For example, how was a seventeen-year-old traumatized young man WHO WAS ON SUICIDE OBSERVATIONS at Lynn Ward Tallaght Hosptial ??? The hospital, of course, still refuses to take on any responsibility. ”

Sinead’s next tweet confirmed the dire news of his passing.

She wrote:

“My beautiful son, Neviim Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the light of my life, today decided to end his earthly struggle and now with God. May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My child. I love you so much. Please calm down. “

She then shared a Bob Marley song and dedicated it to her son.

She wrote:

“This is for my Shane. The light of my life. The lamp of my soul. My blue-eyed baby. You will always be my light. We’ll always be together. No border can divide us. “

In a series of tweets, Sinead criticized Shane’s hospital.

In one tweet, she wrote:

“Now I am going to retire to mourn my son. When I’m ready, I’ll tell you exactly how the Irish state, in the ignorant, evil, selfish, deceitful forms of Tusla and the Higher School of Economics, contributed to his death. Magdalene Ireland never left. Ask the youth. “

In another, O’Connor wrote:

“And any statement by Tusla that they a) did their best, b) cared or c) felt deepest sympathy for anyone here besides their lawyers is a bunch of shitty trap that killed too many children, and she didn’t wash off. this time. Too many children are dying in front of Tusla. “

She then thanked Shane’s father, Donal Lanny.

She wrote:

“I would also like to thank Shane’s dad, Donal Lanny. You tried too, Donal. And Shane adored you. And I will always remember how nice you were to him. You were a wonderful father. I am very sorry for your loss. “

“I don’t know how I’m going to live without you.”

In another tweet, Sinead wrote:

Shane, baba, hold on to me. Wherever you are, please stay with me. My child. I don’t know how I’ll live without you. ”
