If you haven’t seen Netflix Single Inferno Also, where have you been? A South Korean dating reality show in which nine people go glamping on a remote island in an attempt to find the love of their lives began airing on a streamer in December 2021. Since its premiere, it has quickly garnered attention, with the intense drama unfolding over eight episodes and one star rising from a group of genetically blessed members: Song Jia.
Despite being surrounded by a gaggle of other gorgeous singles looking for love, viewers quickly fell in love with Gia. With almost all of the men in Inferno lining up for her attention, the show was quick to confirm what we were all thinking: Gia. is an main character. After the season ended, she surpassed the three million subscriber mark on Instagram And her YouTube The channel has gained over 1.7 million subscribers.
After all this talk, we couldn’t help but watch all of the breakout star’s videos on YouTube and we’re ready to run to the department store to try the scents she named her favorites in the recommendation video. Buying perfume without inhaling the scents can be a difficult (and frankly disastrous) experience, but to be honest, we trust Gia’s judgment. (And who knows, maybe if we spritz one of these before going outside, we’ll have muscular personal trainers lined up for our love, too?)
Anyway, without further ado, here are all the fragrances that Gia named her favorites in the video from October 2021:
1. Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau De Parfum
Her number one favorite Gia describes this YSL fragrance as “sexy and luxurious”. (I mean, like Gia herself!) Although she says she prefers an unusual perfume, she notes that this one is recognizable and explains what people can usually tell when she wears it. “There is no other perfume that I use so often,” she says and mentions that she will buy another bottle as soon as it runs out.
2. Tom Ford Rose Prick
One of two rose-scented fragrances she loves, this selection is mature and charming. Gia notes that this is a unisex fragrance, and quite unusual, so she gets a lot of questions and compliments every time she wears it. The matte strawberry milk color of the bottle is part of this perfume’s appeal, while the black details add extra luxury to it. She also included the body spray version of the fragrance as a must-have.
3. Seasons of Soul Soft Rose
“If I want to look like a child, then I will wear this Mellow Rose perfume,” says Gia. Unlike Tom Ford Rose Prick, Gia notes that Mellow Rose is a floral fragrance, much younger and fresher. The Soul Seasons fragrance suits Gia’s fans and viewers well, as she knows that most of them are younger than her.
4. Tom Ford Soleil Neige
It is a sweet yet strong fragrance. Gia doesn’t recommend it for those who like a lighter, fresher scent, but if you like sweet scents with a hint of sexiness, this is for you. The shape of the bottle is reminiscent of other Tom Ford perfumes in her collection, and when lined up together, they are the perfect luxury decoration for any dressing table.
5. Eau de Parfum Miss Dior
Another recommendation for her young viewers: Gia shares that with one sip of Miss Dior perfume, “you turn into an innocent young lady.” (Whatever that means, it can be interpreted.) She feels that the vibes of this perfume, from the cute bottle design to the scent itself, are soft and pure.
6. Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris
Good for spring and summer, Jia recommends this perfume to her viewers who prefer a more feminine scent. It’s like candy and gives a much more youthful vibe compared to the sweetness of the aforementioned Tom Ford Soleil Neige. Sweet, not sexy.
7. Chanel No. 5
Jia’s favorite bottle of Chanel No. 5 in this video is almost empty, there are only a few drops left. (Don’t worry, she’s got a new bottle on deck.) The powdery, luxurious classic exudes a princess vibe in her and has been her favorite since school days. “Then I thought I was a princess. I’m still a princess.”
8. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
A gift from a friend, this Chanel fragrance is very mature and you either love it or you hate it. With notes of orange and jasmine, the brand characterizes Coco Mademoiselle as a bold floral-woody fragrance. According to Jia, “they call it the perfume of the women of the night.”
9. Byredo Mixed Emotions
Another gift in her collection, this fragrance is also unisex. The cylindrical bottle and domed lid make it one of the few contemporary designs in her perfume range, but she notes it’s not her favorite scent. As for Byredo, Gia prefers the Swedish luxury brand’s hand creams and hand washes.
