Sutton Foster just received one of the biggest awards in the Broadway community!
The two-time Tony winner actress was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. 2022 Drama League Awards Friday afternoon (May 20) in New York.
The annual awards ceremony is awarded for only one performance in an entire theatrical season, covering all of Broadway and its environs.
Sutton received an award for her performance in Music Man and her colleague Hugh Jackman received an award for excellence in musical theater. Actors can only receive the Excellence Award once in their career. Hugh won almost 20 years ago for a leading role in a Broadway Boy from Ozso he had no right to Music Man.
