CATELYN Lowell has been heavily criticized for sharing a “disgusting” post about a Texas school shooting.
The 29-year-old Teen Mom OG star photoshopped herself smiling and posing on the red carpet in front of Robb’s elementary school.
Last Tuesday, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalda, Texas.
The attacker wounded another 17 people. Ramos was shot dead by police after he started killing.
Beneath Catelyn’s photo was a caption: “Dear Children of America, It Shouldn’t Be This Way.”
She captioned the post “I can’t stop crying” with a crying emoji and added, “#linkinbio.”

The link takes fans to an article in her online magazine about the shooting.
Teen Mom fans were horrified by Katilynn’s “disrespectful” post, which has since been deleted, and accused her of “using” the tragedy “for clickbait”.
One wrote: “Can’t stop crying, bio reference… God. And that smile, how can you be so deaf?”
Another added: “I’ve never been Kate’s biggest fan, but for the most part I could tolerate her, although I agree with you that it’s downright disgusting.”
A third wrote: “Why is Caitlyn pretending to pose cheerfully in front of a school where 21 people were killed?
Another user was outraged: “It’s 2022 in the yard. Nobody cares about online magazines. Especially with the gaudy photoshop and the use of mass murder of elementary children as bait for profit.”
HORRIBLE SHOOTING
Ramos opened fire at the school last week, shooting at children in several classrooms during a horrific 94-minute rampage.
After the shooting, dozens of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, called for tougher gun control laws.
This isn’t the first time Catelyn has faced backlash for her social media posts.
The MTV star came under fire last year for posting a clickbait story that said her 13-year-old daughter, Carly, had died.
MORE RETURN
Catilynn and her husband Tyler Baltierra welcomed Carly when they were teenagers and gave her up for adoption as an infant.
She shared a link to the article on her Instagram story, which she captioned: “Destructive news about Carly” with a broken heart emoji.
Late last year, Katilynn and Tyler reunited with Carly for the first time in two years after they were separated due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple then commented on how grown-up their daughter looks, saying that she looks like a “little grown-up”.
The high school sweethearts are also the parents of Novalee, seven years old, Waeda, three years old, and Riya, eight months old.
