There are tips that every young person should know. Never play poker with a man named Doc. Don’t pull on Superman’s cape. Of course, knowing when to leave and knowing when to run.
There are also tips from one movie star to another, says Timothée Chalamet. Leonardo DiCaprio told him, “No hard drugs or superhero movies.”
Chalamet, 26, shared the wisdom passed on to DiCaprio, 47, with british vogue Today. The two starred in the 2021 comedy. Don’t look up.
According to Shalaman, the advice was received with enthusiasm.
“In my early teens, I had a crazy dream of pursuing an acting career in my late teens,” he told British Vogue. Despite a wave of early acting success, he said the pandemic left him feeling unprepared for adulthood.
“I should have tried to put my adult legs under me a little earlier than I did,” he admitted. “I found that I had to really, you know, be honest with myself, that what I was able to achieve in life was balls against the wall, like throwing everything at [it] at a young age, which miraculously brought me to where I am now.”
DiCaprio is notoriously picky about his roles. Obviously, this also affected Chalament.
