The trial ended on June 1, and the jury ruled that Aquaman star Heard slandered Depp in a Washington Post article in late 2018. Depp was awarded approximately $10.4 million in damages, which Heard appealed. The jury found that Heard was defamated in one of her lawsuits and awarded her $2 million in damages.
