EXCLUSIVE: Los Angeles-based sales and distribution company VMI Worldwide has acquired international distribution rights for the horror thriller. Retribution and will begin sales at the Toronto Film Festival.
The deal was negotiated by Jessica Bennett and Andre Relis of VMI Worldwide and producer Michael Lombardi and Tiffany Boyle of Ramo Low on behalf of the filmmakers.
Film from Better Noise Films, producers Dirtfollows an honest pastor as he uncovers a dark and twisted underworld as he searches for answers related to the brutal murder of his daughter. Samuel Gonzalez Jr., Michael Lombardi and Bridget Smith direct from a screenplay by the Gere Brothers, Darren Gere and Jeff Allen Gere.
The film’s soundtrack is scored by rock celebrities including Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe and Papa Roach, who also make cameo appearances.
The soundtrack will also feature music from The Hu’s Jaya, Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas, Eva Under Fire’s Amanda Laiberg, Matt Brandyberry, Danny Case, From Ashes to New’s Lance Dowdle and Matt Madiro, Corey Marks and Dan Murphy. Miles Franco from All Good Things.
The film’s cast is led by Michael Lombardi (Save me), Mark Menchaka (Ozark) and Joseph Gatt (Game of Thrones).

The film will be released in cinemas worldwide on September 14, 2022 and will be released in the US and Canada by CineLife and internationally by Trafalgar Releasing.
