Will Smith Plans His Big Comeback With Secret Main Film Promotion

A source has revealed that WILL Smith is planning his comeback as he moves ahead with plans for a major new film.

While he may be blacklisted by the Oscars for a decade and wait for studios and the public to welcome him back to the screen, behind closed doors, Smith is already working on a return to the screen with I Am Legend 2.

In the film, which is being produced by his Westbrook Studios, Smith will reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville, who fights for survival and a cure for zombies in post-apocalyptic New York.

Insiders say Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, who adapted Richard Matheson’s 1954 novel for the original 2007 film, included Smith’s character in the sequel.

Smith received recognition for his first film starring Michael B Jordan which grossed $585,410,052.

While the script has yet to be fully confirmed, Smith will be in the concept as Warner Brother did not block the star’s return despite his infamous attack on Chris Rock, a source said.

Smith faced backlash after bursting onto the stage at this year’s Oscars and punching host Rock in the face over a joke he made about his wife Jada.

A source told Kristen Bell Tattoos: “The script is being written with his character in mind and for now Will remains attached to the project.

“The concept still needs to be approved by Warner Brothers, but there is no indication that Will has dropped out of the project.

“Obviously he is the producer of the film and his production company is in charge of developing it.

“The reality is that Will will return at some point and it will all depend on which studio gives him a chance.

“The public’s negative attitude towards his career has certainly lessened in recent weeks as the world has moved on with stories like the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

“And Will himself is in therapy and tries not to be the center of attention.

“Of course, Hollywood loves comeback stories in which seemingly out-of-business stars come back to life with big projects like Robert Downey Jr., Mel Gibson, Drew Barrymore and Winona Ryder.

“Things might look very different in two years and Will might be back on screen.”

Last month, Sony boss Tom Rothman revealed that Bad Boys 4 was still being considered, though reports claimed it was delayed and Smith didn’t rule it out.

Speaking at Cinemacon, he said: “This film was in development and is still in development. There was no need to pump the brakes, because the car was not moving.

“It was a very unfortunate event and I don’t think it’s my right to comment other than to say that I’ve known Will Smith for many years and I know he’s a good person.

“He was an example of a very good person going through a very bad moment in front of the whole world.

“I believe his apologies and regrets are sincere, and I believe in forgiveness and redemption.”

Premonitions caused by drugs

Last month, Smith revealed in an interview with David Letterman that he had a psychedelic vision of his career being “destroyed” before attacking the Rock host at the Oscars.

Smith recalled a premonition similar to what he experienced under the influence of ayahuasca, a psychoactive herbal drink that reportedly has some hallucinogenic properties.

Bad Boys’ stellar prediction of his fall from grace really left him with one positive take on the certainty that: “I can handle everything this life has to offer me.”

Smith, speaking to American presenter David Letterman, said: “Once you drink this, you will see yourself as you have never seen yourself.

“One of the experiences was an individual, the most hellish psychological experience of my life.”

Smith said he had a vision that his palatial home, his wealth, and his unparalleled career would be taken away from him within two years, during which he explained that he had taken the psychedelic drug nearly 15 times.

“I drink, I sit, and then suddenly I start to see how all my money is flying away, and my house is flying away, and my career is gone,” Smith recalled. .

Smith said he came to his senses when he heard his daughter Willow Smith calling for his help.
